Guilty guilty guilty — a project description

Things that I had in mind when creating this project:

1) Nothing is original: "Not derived from something else" is given as one definition of "original", and it just doesn't sit well with me.

2) The term "original creator" has a practical use when it's used in terms of who get's remunerated for what work; yet it implies moral rights to the work itself.

3) I want to be able to work as an artist, but can't with a straight face forbid others to do what they please with what I've done.

4) If industrialisation and its consequences were accepted as the inevitable and neutral progress of technology, why can't filesharing technology be viewed as such?

5) Free culture is an obvious right in a better world, but a better world won't come about just because culture is free.

6) Let's accept the ethics of free culture and see what will come out of it, shall we?
