Back in 2001 I made a Relationship Evaluation Form™ as PDF you could print and fill out for your ex. Now I’ve recreated it with 100% more web-interactivity! The Relationship Evaluation Form started as an in-joke with friends in Iceland, following a breakup and all the discussions that<\/em> entails. We were commiserating about love’s unknowns and the transactional zeitgeist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea was to print a form, fill it out and hand it to your ex. The PDF got plenty of downloads but I never heard from anyone who actually used it. A short description of the original project with links<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent the last couple of days to turn it it into an interactive website \u2013 the goal was to experiment a bit with AI. I used Claude + mcp to vibe the new page into being:\u00a0Relationship Evaluation Form \u2022 2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My database skills are mediocre at best, and I’m excited to see if I\/AI have left any gaping security holes in the implementation, but since I’m coming at this from a UX perspective I threw cation to the wind and focused on user flows instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can’t imagine that anyone sane would actually use this for realz<\/em> with a straight face, but I can imagine someone filling it out while drunk and heartbroken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
