This particular morning I wrote &#8220;I woke up rested, full of worthless energy&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The type of energy I was thinking of was the kind that makes your head buzz with potential to solve problems \u2013&nbsp;your mind is racing to <em>apply<\/em> itself to something. A problem to solve, a task to fulfill. A purpose, any purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you don&#8217;t find a purpose, this energy, this pressure, dissapates \u2013\u00a0much like a kettle boiling over, the energy escapes as steam, as sighs and hot breath.
