Never trust robots
It’s usually considered rather lame physically challenged to post just one youtube video in a post, but this is a bloody brilliant song. I’ve been playing it continuously the past two days. If only Andrew Thompson would offer a non-DRM version to buy online…
Celebrating borndom [hah!]
Anna celebrated her mumblemumle‘th birthday with a dinner in the yard. Sound carries like a bitch there, and I’m certain that we entertained all neighbours with our tales of chivalry and hello-kitty-dildos.
As usual, vegan food is regular food sans everything not vegan:
I’m going through a slightly antagonistic phase at the moment.
butt what
A living glory hole: Samwell wants you to stick something up his bumbum. Exceptionally campy video, but a catchy tune.
Classic car meet-up
Every monday during summer there’s a meetup for people with classic cars in Nääs, outside of Gothenburg. Even thought I’m not in the least interested in cars, I tagged along Petter, his kids and his uncle Erik went last week. The most fun part was going there in his uncles Pontiac GTO – I was positively giddy riding shotgun with the 2-litlers-per-mile engine going wroom-wroom.
Once there, I was mostly nervous to scratch one of the anally clean cars. I am still not interested in cars, but if I could get one of my own (need to get a licence first) it seems like fun. I would go wroom-wroom a lot.
back from hibernation
Uno: The chess tournaments have started up for reals at kellys pub. Nice ambiance when you’re drunk and playing rabid timed chess against people who kick your ass. I finished third out of seven, and my nerves were on the ouside of my body much of the time.
I missed last thursday, and today there were five of us, and again I finished third. the good part is that I won against the guy who came first last time. fun fun.
Intermission: Women who use condoms are more depressed than those that don’t – apparently seamen is a mood stimulating drug.
Due: My cousin found a cheapo ticket from dublin to stockholm a week ago and I visited over the weekend. Lots of train-car-boat-ing, leaving me groggy because of locomotive sensitivity on my part. My brother is working on an old steamboat that tours the archipelago, and it seemed to be a stressful but fun job. I’m imagining all the scheming and intrigues going on on such a small vessel with a staff of 10-15. Who’s slept with whom, etc. I’m very predictable that way.
Intermission: The other day I woke up to find a sleeping bumblebee on my floor. I gently tossed it the hell out through the window.
Also, powernapping at work I dreamed about walnuts, prompting a co-worker to buy said nuts. An extract from walnuts can be used in lieu of viagra. What importance that has I don’t know.
lockpicking presentation
I thought I’d hold off on publishing the lockpicking presentation until the new homepage was finished, but since that might take for-fucking-ever a few days more, I thought I’d release the video anyway.

mickey ackbar!

demonstration & deconstruction
let’s do this in pictures and videos, shall we?
in stockholm i went to the first of may demonstration with the anarcho-syndicalists. strenght in numbers is a good thing, and it feels good to be reminded that there is a political alternative and that other people might not be as absent from it as i am. after that i saw a bunch of wild rabbits in a tiny park – how they manage to thrive in downtown stockholm is beyond me, but there you go. my david attenborough moment. bonus material: taking the last commuter train home, some ants eating an apple, and me doing the drunk-look-in-the-mirror routine at a hff get-together.
i came back to gothenburg last saturday to help with taking the exhibition at konsthallen down. this is a time lapse video i made of it using the built in camera and gawker. the first video is of the deconstruction and painting of one corner, the second video is of the packaging of all the prints and thingies. a mad amount of work. one image every fifteen seconds in both vids:
in order of appearance:
– error message on the bus. blurry picture because i’m drunk.
– mom, brother and i. from a series of fifteen pictures.
– this is the reason you don’t keep open razors in the same bag pocket as your cellphone. it happened on the train back from sthlm, and some other passangers freaked because of all the blood. it’s still raw and i can’t type properly.
and last but not least: don’t even bother watching the new spiderman movie. it sucks in obvious ways, and more subtle ways. it’s not worth even downloading – i ended up fast forwarding through most of it. these people don’t even know how to use special effects properly fer crying out loud. oh, and tell me that this isn’t a freudian slip on the behalf of the director: spiderman is battling sandman and black spiderman with the american flag as a backdrop. i mean, c’mon. is this a too obvious reading?

kungsängen & bålsta – babies & food
kungsängen. there’s an odd quantum effect here that makes me revert to being a teenager; i’m on the couch, drink soda, eat like a pig before slaughter.
moms boyfriend had a birthday party during the weekend (watch the video) and tomorrow i’m off to demonstrate my lazy solidarity with other working class folk, and meet some friends. too bad it’s so cold. but hey, if one day of marching a year is what it takes to keep the world just and equal, so be it.
