About

This is the blog of Mateusz Pozar, an artist born in Poland, raised in Stockholm and living in Gothenburg, Sweden.

He has a BA in photography from University of Photography and an MFA from Valand, both under the University of Gothenburg. Before the studies, he’d worked as a radio reporter and editor at various project, as well as writing and photographing for outlets such as Yelah.net and Indymedia London.

Currently, he freelances as a photographer, retoucher and editor, teaches writing at the Urban Architecture Design Lab at Chalmers University of Technology, and photography at Medborgarskolan and Art Collage. He’s responsible for the KKV GBG screen workshop and also member of KKV Electro — where he’s been working with 3D printers. A founding member of the art collective Skup Palet, every once in a while he collaborates with someone on a project, although most of the work is a solo endevour.

He enjoys learning about new things and would love to discuss them with you, possibly very enthusiastically, hands waving all up in the place. He’s exceptionally handy to have around, and you should definitely pay him for doing something useful with his time.
